About
#DO Music is a partner program in which I work with local musicians to create wholesome, uplifting, and inspiring music to benefit listeners and the community. My partners include college students as well as professional musicians that enjoy sharing their musical talent with others. Below are the musicians I have worked with or hired either in albums, concerts, or videos. The projects I have worked on with them is given in their bio and their emails are provided for anyone looking to hire or contact for a gig.

Daniel O'Connor
Professional Violinist - Music/Symphony Partner
Daniel O'Connor is a professional violinist whose performances resonate with both passion and precision. With a rich musical background and extensive training, Daniel has established himself as a dynamic force in the classical and sacred music world. With over 16 years of experience, his repertoire spans the classical spectrum from beloved masterpieces to highly technical intense works by Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn. With a passion for music, he always brings the highest level of quality to his performances. He is currently the assistant concertmaster/soloist for the Owasso Christmas Symphony. Owen Menne
Concert/Band Bassoonist - Symphony Partner
​Owen Menne is a concert bassoon player originally from Stillwater, OK. During his high school career, Owen made NCDA annually except sophomore year. He also qualified for Oklahoma all-state in 2023. He is currently a bassoon player for the University of Tulsa symphony and the Sound of the Golden Hurricane band for both basketball and football. He is also a talented clarinetist. João Flores
Professional Violinist - Symphony Partner
​João Flores is a talented classically trained violinist with an extensive amount of international performance experience. Being originally from Blumenau, Brazil, Flores began his violin career at the impressive age of 2 and continued under the guidance of Iva Giracca and Alisson Unglaub. After a brief period he switched to focusing on piano, during which time became a finalist in two editions of the Rosa Mística Latin-American Piano Competition, returned to violin, serving as concertmaster for OAC Orchestra (Curitiba) in 2016 and IAESC Chamber Orchestra from 2018 to 2019. Flores eared a significant amount of recognition at the 2018 2nd Violin Festspiele Brazil, receiving the Best Student Award and mentorship from Elisa Fukuda and Ricardo Molter. During this time Flores collaborated with esteemed musicians, including Christian Budu, Álvaro Siviero, James Lee III, Rubens Simeo, Edmundo Villani Cortes, Maria José Carrasqueira, and Richard Kogima. Flores was awarded the Music Festival Scholarship at Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU) in 2021, studying violin under Dr. Rogério Nunes and conducting under Jonathan Wall. To this day, Flores has performed in prestigious venues across five countries, including the Morton Meyerson Symphony Hall (USA), Palácio De La Música (Mexico), Portsmouth Cathedral (UK), Quarr Abbey (UK), Westminster Abbey (UK), and St. Paul Within the Walls (Italy). He currently serves as concertmaster for the SWAU Chamber and Symphony Orchestras and is the current winner of the 2024 Southern Adventist University Concerto Competition, set to perform the Bruch Violin Concerto with the SAU Symphony Orchestra in February. Joey Vaughan
Concert Double Bassist - Music Partner
Joey Vaughan is an award-winning bass player originally from Houston, Texas. Having been a bass player for the past 8 years, his expertise has grown drastically and his unmatched talent is clearly visible in his performances. He has been a resident bass player for the TWHS Orchestra as well as TMEA Region IX Orchestra. He was also the winner of the Texas Music Scholar Award in 2022. He is currently the principal bass player at the University of Tulsa, where he is pursuing a BM in Music Composition. He is also the incoming principal bass player for the Owasso Christmas Symphony. Kiersten Schaub
Professional Cellist - Symphony Partner
Kiersten Schaub is an award-winning cellist, with an incredible amount of experience under her belt. Starting cello at the early age of 6, Schaub quickly developed an incredible talent for it. Originally from Utah, Schaub trained with the Gifted Music Conservatory Orchestra for 4 years, notoriously the best music conservatory in Utah. She has also been a semifinalist at both the Fischoff national and Coltman chamber competitions. She also won the American String Teacher's Association for chamber music and placed 2nd for the solo category. She has also played alongside both the Utah and Tulsa Symphony in a side by side. Ethan Wesley
Professional Cellist - Symphony Partner
Ethan Wesley is cellist originally from Kansas but is currently playing with the University of Tulsa. Despite being a talented cellist, performing as the assistant principal in the Utulsa Symphony, he is also incredible intelligent in the academic world, currently pursuing a degree in chemical engineering. He is also a resident cellist for the Owasso Christmas Symphony and has played alongside the Tulsa Symphony in a side by side. With his wide range of musical knowledge and incredibly vibrant stage presence, he is an outstanding pick for any event and is sure to brighten any room with his music. Kaija Perry
Doctoral Composition Student - Composition Partner
Kaija Perry lives in Boston, Massachusetts and is an award-winning composer with incredible skill in not only composing but in performance as well. Being a violinist, double bass player, percussionist, pianist, and conductor, her wide range of expertise is very noticeable in her highly sophisticated compositions. Perry won the Blythe Owen Women's Composer Award in 2020 and received a Merrit Scholarship for the Boston University School of Music where she is now pursuing her Doctorate. Megan Hicks
Professional Flutist - Music Video Partner
Megan Hicks lives in Jenks, Oklahoma and is a concert band and symphony flutist. She was the principal flutist for Owasso, OK's Christmas Symphony during the 2022 & 2023 seasons and was the lead flutist for the Broken Arrow high school marching band. Sungu Flottman
Solo & Concert Violinist - Symphony Partner
Sungu Flottman lives near Richmond, Virginia and is an award-winning concerto violinist with incredible talent. Undergoing heavy training in Korea, he quickly developed a love for the violin at a young age. The exceptional skill he developed while there helped him win the Richmond Symphony League Concerto Competition at the young age of 16. He was the 2022 concertmaster and resident soloist for Owasso, OK's Christmas Symphony and the soloist/assistant concertmaster for the Richmond Youth Symphony. Stephen White
Media Cinematographer
Stephen White resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a freelance photographer/filmmaker with a passion for stellar content creation. He has worked on numerous films and promos for nonprofit organizations and is the resident filmmaker for DO Music. With an incredible talent and incredibly skillful touch, Stephen brings the highest video and choreographic ideas to the table to produce some of the best local media. Tyler Davis
Chamber & Symphony Cellist - Symphony Partner
Tyler Davis lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is an award-winning cellist with an amazing talent in bringing music to life in his performances. He is one of the top cellists for Owasso, OK's Christmas Symphony, is the principal cellist for TCC's Chamber Orchestra, and has also performed alongside Tulsa's Signature Symphony in pit performances. To add to his portfolio, he recently was a winner of the 2023 Hyechka Club of Tulsa Scholarship and he also teaches cello with Harmony Project Tulsa. Neil Huffaker
Concert Pianist - Music Video Partner
Neil Huffaker is an accomplished pianist of over 20 years based out of Southwest MO. He can be found performing at his own solo concerts, weddings, special events, the GYC conference, a variety of churches, and is the resident pianist for the Owasso, OK Christmas Symphony. Alex Yarusso
Chamber & Symphony Cellist - Symphony Partner
Alex Sellers lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a professional cellist with exceptional skill and vibrant personality. Alex Sellers is currently a grad student from Oral Roberts University majoring in Music Education. She is one of the top cellists for Owasso, OK's Christmas Symphony and is a cello instructor for Tulsa's Anthem Road Academy, principal cellist of Oral Roberts University orchestra, cellist for the University of Tulsa Symphony, and her list of talents goes on and on. Being a conductor, band director, clarinetist, and violinist as well, her wide range of musical knowledge is evident in her performances. With years of experience in cello performance, Sellers is an amazing musician that would bring any event (weddings, special receptions, etc.) to life! Tatyana Lantos
Professional Pianist - Piano Mentor/Professor
Tatyana Lantos is an incredible pianist with a wealth of experience and knowledge and has been DO Music's mentor for the past 10 years. Ms. Lantos’s career as a classical pianist began very early when at the age of five, she was accepted to attend the prestigious Stolyarsky School of Music in Ukraine. At age seven, she was already performing seasonal concerts at the Philharmonic Concert Hall in Odessa, Ukraine. Ms. Lantos graduated from the Odessa State Music Conservatory, Ukraine in 1995 with a Master’s Degree in Music, majoring in Piano Performance, Education, and Accompaniment. As a teacher, Ms. Lantos’s method is a very unique and famous Russian piano education tactic. Sarah Eklof
Soprano/Alto Vocalist - "Trust" Scripture Songs Partner
Sarah Eklof lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a talented vocalist with a skill for sacred music. Currently majoring in music with a vocal emphasis, Eklof is one of the lead sopranos of the TCC choir and her love for music is evident in her passion for vocal training. She is also a current recruit and near the top of Owasso, OK's Christmas Symphony Choir watchlist.
